1:24 1972 XA Ford Falcon Sedan - MFP March Hare

For the very first time in history, DDA Collectibles have produced the March Hare Ford XA Falcon in a detailed 1:24 scale model car.

The March Hare was a Main Force Patrol (MFP) vehicle driven by Sarse and Scuttle in the original Mad Max film. It was a 1972 Ford Falcon XA sedan.

Unlike the other two yellow MFP vehicles, which were repurposed ex police cars, the March Hare was formerly a taxi. Already in poor condition prior to filming, the car's wear is evident on screen—most notably from the smoke billowing out of its exhaust pipe.

March Hare underwent minimal modifications for its role in the film. It shares the same fibreglass lower bumper lip as the Big Bopper and features a roof spoiler. However, it lacks the fibreglass wheel arch flares seen on some other MFP vehicles.

It appears as the second "Interceptor" in the film’s opening chase sequence, alongside Max's yellow XB sedan. The vehicle is fitted with standard MFP equipment, including a communications radio, roof mounted lights, and sirens. As with all yellow MFP cars, the names of its crew members—Sarse and Scuttle—are inscribed on the driver's side front fender.

Packaged in DDA Collectibles signature window box, this model car is perfect for all Ford, Mad Max and 1:24 Scale collectors alike
