- Just over a year after the release of the XD range, Ford released the XD ESP. The ESP (European Sports Pack) ran a 4.1 litre alloy head 6 cylinder engine and had a variety of upgrades including "Bathurst" Globe alloy wheels, "Scheel" front seats and sport suspension with Bilstein shock absorbers.
