Reproduction Glass Oil Bottle - Caltex Quart

The reproduction Caltex bottle has been made to be as close to the original as possible, packed in our Depot branded display box. 

Package contains:

• Caltex branded glass oil bottle (quart size)
• Caltex branded funnel
• Red funnel cap

Please note: as these are reproduction bottles and funnels, we cannot guarantee that the individual pieces will fit original oil bottles. Please also be aware that the funnel graphic and the bottle embossing may not line up.

Before disposable metal, paper, and plastic engine-oil containers became commonplace, drivers pulling into gas stations and asking for oil often had to watch and wait as the lubricant was hand pumped from a drum into a spouted glass bottle. Assuring motorists that the oil in those drums was really as advertising and not just some inferior-quality substitute, oil companies embossed their names and logos on the sides of these clear bottles.
